Windows that open to the inside (“German-style”)

Windows that open to the inside (the so-called “German-style”) are manufactured on the basis of the German standards IV68 and 78 (jamb: 68x78 and 78x78). An aluminium rain deflector (Gutman Necklar) is installed on the windows to protect the jamb and wooden sub-frame parts from adverse weather conditions (rain, wind, sun). The windows are equipped with quality non-corrosive ROTO fittings.Tilt&turn windows have standard two-point security fittings and micro-ventilation systems. The number in the product’s name marks the thickness of the frame. The 68 mm window frame fits two-layered glass packets and the 78 mm window frame fits the three-layered variety. These windows are very popular in Estonia due to their simple use and practicality. The German-type windows are increasingly used in the building of public and apartment buildings.

The Scandinavian Window wooden windows can be ordered in pine, meranti or oak timber. The finishing can be ordered as painted or ebonised (lasur paint). In addition, the wooden windows may be painted with different colours on the inside and the outside, which will slightly raise the product price.

Windows opening to the outside, single-frame windows (“Danish-style”)turn to the outside.Such windows are popular in Denmark and Norway.A great advantage of these windows is the wind resistance, since they open to the outside, and the strong wind pushes the seams even tighter together.Another advantage is the simple construction; they do not touch the curtains or objects on the window sill.

Windows that open to the outside (“Danish-style”) are made from dry three-lamin, knothole-free laminated pine, as a standard. We use the company’s products IPA 23061 – 23070 as the front pole, and IPA 23180 and IPA 23190 as the counter-frame. Hinges are done according to FIX 3201/3202 or IPA 21169 - 82. In addition, a 16x23 DAFA A/S rubber-sealed rain protector can be attached as a clip-on to the outside of the window, in order to protect the wooden underside of the frame from detrimental weather conditions (rain, wind, sun). The security fittings and micro-ventilation systems are as standard on these windows. The handles are from FIX.
